Lone Star Review gives Opa’s a thumbs up.

Lone Star Review gives Opa’s a thumbs up.

“Opa’s Smoked Meats from Fredericksburg, Texas. This company has been smoking meat in Texas since 1947. We tried their smoked jalapeno with cheese sausage. It was excellent! One of the best sausages I have had. It had a good beef to pork ratio. The sausage had a good jalapeno tasted and the cheese was a good quality cheddar. It had a nice smoke flavor that added to the flavor but didn’t over power the meat. The casing was perfect, not too soft and not to chewy. After trying this sausage it has quickly become one of my favorites. I can’t wait to try other smoked products from this company and I’d recommend this sausage to everyone. Rated 5 out of 5-D & A”
